Teletherapy is a great alternative to face to face counseling when you are unable to be in my office. I started doing Telehealth during the COVID-19 crisis as a way to continue to provide care to my clients who wanted continued support. I quickly came to realize that this is an easy and convenient way to participate in therapy from anywhere, anytime!
Clients have the option to participate in therapy from their offices, from their bedrooms, their cars, or even while sitting out on their back porch. Telehealth allows for you to have more flexibility in when you schedule.
Busy mom's and dad's like that they can make the most of their time. No more need to get a babysitter so you can make your appointment. You don't need to worry about traffic, or a work meeting running late.
Many people feel hesitant to do therapy online. I will make this process as easy as possible for you and we will work together to help ensure you feel comfortable. If you feel uncomfortable at any time, you always have the option to turn your video off.
What do you need to do Teletherapy? Its easy! Privacy. A secure (and strong) internet connection and the mobile or computer device of your choice. Prior to your first session you will be sent a link to Zoom, an easy to use, HIPPA compliant platform. Once you sign in, you will see me in the privacy of my office and we will get started on creating a safe space for you to explore your emotions and work towards empowering yourself to make the changes you want and deserve.
